In issue #03 of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, it has been announced that the SandLand manga, by mangaka Akira Toriyama, will have an anime adaptation. The format of this has not yet been revealed. The studios in charge of producing this anime will be Sunrise, Kamikaze Douga, and Studio Anima.
